Home Care Assistance – Respite and Medical Care – Personal Care Needs – Companionship

We believe our caregivers are the best in the business because we take the time to carefully screen and interview our team members, ensuring they have both the professional expertise necessary, as well as loving hearts and a dedication to helping others. We provide extensive training as well as ongoing education to all our caregivers on home care assistance best practices, so you can rest assured you have a highly-qualified individual caring for your loved one. The caregiver and client relationship is so important to both recovery and ongoing feelings of security and comfort, and that is why we carefully match our caregivers with each client and their unique set of needs. We are here to provide assistance with daily needs such as meals, bathing and dressing to more extensive needs such as after surgery care, dementia care and end of life comfort.

Services

Arcadia New England caregivers are local, trained healthcare and comfort-care professionals who provide necessary care services and personal assistance in our client’s homes. We thoroughly assess each client’s needs ahead of time, so that we can match just the right caregiver with each client. Highly trained and screened, our staff will provide the best medical and personal care with compassion as well as technical expertise. Because they live locally themselves, our caregivers are familiar with local businesses and culture, making them a more comforting fit for people. Individuals can avoid extended hospital and rehabilitation stays, and continue to live independently while getting the help they need to be healthy, safe and feel secure.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have caregivers throughout the states of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. YES! Your safety and security is our greatest priority. All the staff and caregivers that work for Arcadia New England are interviewed extensively, followed by several in-depth background checks, as required by both Federal Law and the requirements of the individual states. Our background investigations include Office of the Attorney General, Criminal, eVerify, Sex Offender, along with a whole laundry list of other background reviews we conduct before anyone comes to work with us and would go out into the homes of our clients.

Costs for services are dependent on a number of criteria including the types of services you are looking for, the level of professional care required, if insurances such as Long Term Care can provide payment for some or all of the services, as well as certain state and government programs and funding clients may qualify for. Please call your local office to discuss your care needs, and we will be able to provide you with detailed costs at that time.

We work to provide a broad spectrum of care and companion services ranging from companion care to keep someone company or assist with appointments all the way up to providing licensed RN medical care for ongoing or respite needs.

We will work with you to determine what types of services you need. We do this by completing a detailed intake interview, followed by visiting the home where the care will be provided and meeting with the client and their family/guardians. During this home visit we observe and evaluate the environment where care will be given, complete a detailed assessment of care needs, and create a care plan around the needs and wants of the client and their family/guardians. All our care plans are evaluated every three months to ensure the proper care is continuing to be provided based on the client’s current needs.

NO! While we do have caregivers who are licensed medical professionals, we have many, many needs and positions for caregivers in our companion care related services. If you are a compassionate, patient, caring individual who would like to improve the quality of life for others – working at Arcadia New England might be just the job for you!
