HHA Training Opportunity

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Arcadia Home Health Aide (HHA). Our HHA certification training consist of a 20-day classroom program that runs from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. There is no cost to our students for this program.

Arcadia students who successfully complete our HHA program and meet our employment criteria are quickly offered job placement. Arcadia HHA staff may join 1199SEIU, which offers medical, dental, vision insurance as well as other benefits. Please contact our branch office most convenient to you to schedule an interview.

The following skills and qualifications are needed to complete our HHA Certification training program:

Able to read and write in English to carry out patient care plan activities
High School education or GED preferred
Two acceptable references – work related or professional

Prior to employment, we will complete a Criminal History Record-check (CHRC) clearance as per DOH regulation. Prior to patient contact, you will need to successfully complete a physical/PPD/drug test as required by law/regulation.

Certified HHA
